For best results on cards with bacteria, we recommend adding to your setup within 48 hours of purchase. They can still be used later but with less ideal results.

Setup: Snap together if needed, then drop into your filter, skimmer, sump, or directly in your tank. Do not let cards dry. (If snapping together, ensure pieces are lined up correctly prior to gently pushing them together. You may need to gently tap on a sturdy flat object like a table. Do not force.)

Small amounts of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate could be present in packaging. Remove excess water as needed, again being careful not to dry the card out.
